Paul Sims

Paul Sims was born in 1952 and attended Cardiff School of Art in the 1970's. He joined BBC Wales as a Graphic Designer and worked his way up through the ranks to become a department head and Senior Designer helping to pioneer breakfast television in the UK and implement on- air computer graphics systems to live television. He then moved into advertising and worked as the Creative Director of Molinare, a leading Post Production House in Soho, gaining an international reputation for designing, directing and supervising digital visual effects sequences for commercials and films. Paul's creative film work has won numerous awards worldwide. In 2003, Paul and his wife made a life changing decision to move to Cornwall where she now runs a restaurant in St. Ives and he concentrates on his paintings.
